I love me a Julep nailpolish but this was a awful awful product for me.

I do like some textured finishes but this was far to much for me. It was almost like a stucco feel on the nails. It was rather hard to get applied evenly, and it caused my nails to snag on everything. In addition to that it was very hard to remove. I would not reccomend this finish style to anyone, I am sure their are some who will love this but it was simply not for me.

I don't know about the strengthening factor as I used it once and for less then 24 hours. I will say it did dry very fast compared to other julep polishes but it also was one of the reasons it was difficult to apply.

I have to say guys I have mixed feelings on this product.

The oil itself is really nice, smooth, and sinks into the skin very quickly and nicely. I leaves skin feeling soft and nourished. I didn't however really notice any "bronzing" going on. Now I do use a clarsonic nearly everyday so perhaps that is why. I did however use this for the last 3 months everynight and was still not overwhelmed by any colouring.

I also did not ejoy the scent of this product. To the point that I would have to scent on my pillow just to be able to sleep after applying this product.

The packaging for this is to die for and the price point was really good.

Julep Long Weekend Eyeshadow Palette
This is a great little palette. Perfect for summer and travelling hence the name. It gives a nice selection of summery light shades. Soft colours, shimmer, and a nice crisp matte cream shade. Very versital. Comes with cute packaging and has a 2 ended brush encluded.

The brush is standard kit quality, the shades are fairly long wearing (if you have oily skin make sure to us a eye primer first). Colour pay off is nice. The only down side was I found a lot of loose dusting when you pick up colour with your brush.

This retails $53.00 on the website which is too much in my opinion. If you are a maven member you can pick it up much cheaper. I think when I purchased this as a add on it was $22.99.

If you looking for something simple this is a good buy, perfect for gifting to a bride or friend.
